Solo Gelato is an automatic single-serving gelato machine which uses premium technology to celebrate the tradition of gelato.
The machine is intended for use in gelaterias and coffee shops to deliver the freshest possible gelato in 1 minute. In the commercial food space, Solo Gelato stands out with its premium materials and sophisticated technology. The user inserts a premixed gelato capsule into the machine and in 1 minute, the gelato is churned and frozen to perfection.
The form of the machine consists of a powder coated steel box intersected by an extruded aluminum body which contains the LED-matrix display, the gelato capsule drawer, and the gelato serving spout. The scallops on the aluminum extrusion are inspired by pastries, dessert glassware, and the texture of gelato. The drip tray sits below the spout and uses the same extrusion die as the top extrusion for manufacturing. The scalloped form language is carried to the gelato capsule, which is recognizable even when filled with third-party gelato.
