Skycatch High Precision Package is a drone imaging platform that uses a high-resolution downward-facing camera, computer vision, and edge computing to create 3D maps of construction sites in real time.
NewDealDesign was tasked with defining a form language for a new platform consisting of a drone and a base station. Skycatch had previously defined a brand language, which informed the aesthetic direction for the platform, and made a strategic decision to use the DJI Matrice M100, a top-of-the-line industrial drone frame, as the chassis.
The aesthetic reflects the cutting-edge technology of the platform and the ruggedness of industrial construction equipment.
