Matic is a floor cleaning robot that uses AI to intelligently mop and vacuum the home. It creates a 3D map of its environment and intelligently finds and cleans up messes.
It is designed to fit in to the home, with a soft rectilinear form inspired by household furniture. Soft edges along the bottom allow it to glide over carpets and obstacles, while the harder edges on top provide a user-facing surface and UI. The lid to access the waste bag is framed by a black ring which subtly incorporates the LCD screen and sensors. Its large rubberized wheels are suited for any surface, and its frontal scrubber easily reaches under kitchen cabinets.
